I also have a couple of new entries in the Three Women series. This one is 18x24 and $525. The mother of a friend gave me a bead made of jasper, which I used in the figure on the right. This painting was created specifically to use that bead.
I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, board or watercolor paper. My style is loose and very colorful. I consider myself an experimental painter and often incorporate elements such as ink, graphite, paper, beads, clay and whatever else I happen across. Whether I am painting a landscape, still life or abstract, the subject is simply a vehicle for the color and stroke. I work from my imagination and go wherever the painting takes me,working on several paintings simultaneously. I call my work Joyful Art because creating it brings me such joy.
This is gorgeous Sue! Love this series.
