I think I am actually getting this blogging thing. I have posted five times in June already, and here I am again. I am so inspired by Bridgette Guerzon-Mills' blog. I wish that I had really meaningful things to say like she does, but all you will get here is what I am doing and what I am creating. I guess all of my creativity goes into my paintings.
I have decided that I need to paint more and go to fewer meetings. They are art related meetings, but still meetings. The best meeting I attended was one where I got to make little clay ornaments to put in my paintings while discussing the Edmonds Art Studio Tour. Making art while meeting is the way to go. Barb Childs, are you listening? Let's do that again.

- I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, board or watercolor paper. My style is loose and very colorful. I consider myself an experimental painter and often incorporate elements such as ink, graphite, paper, beads, clay and whatever else I happen across. Whether I am painting a landscape, still life or abstract, the subject is simply a vehicle for the color and stroke.
