The round pieces at the bottom are clay. Fun stuff. I also took a class in polymer clay so that I can make pieces to add to my paintings. These are , since I don't know what to call it, real clay.
I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, board or watercolor paper. My style is loose and very colorful. I consider myself an experimental painter and often incorporate elements such as ink, graphite, paper, beads, clay and whatever else I happen across. Whether I am painting a landscape, still life or abstract, the subject is simply a vehicle for the color and stroke. I work from my imagination and go wherever the painting takes me,working on several paintings simultaneously. I call my work Joyful Art because creating it brings me such joy.
I like this.
ReplyDeleteIs the real clay the air dry stuff or does it need to be fired before you put them on your painting?
